Our Story

This event started during Brock Fleming’s battle with DIPG at 7 years old. Brock was a super adorable active 7-year-old. He loved swimming, soccer, and building Legos. He also loved being a brother to his older sister, Jenna.

Since then, the Fun Run has become so much more helping to create awareness of childhood cancer, unite cancer families, and honor kid’s battling and their siblings who have stood strongly beside them!

Please join us honoring Brock Fleming, Katelyn Chatron, Alexis Reinders, Parker Hamilton, and all of our Ambassadors to raise money to find a cure and create awareness of this deadly disease. Our kids deserve better!

Our Annual Team Brock 5K & Family Festival is back!

Join Bob Fonseca and his co-hosts Matt & Chuy from KLBJ 93.7 "Mornings with Matt & Bob" at the Team Brock Halloween 5K & Family Festival on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The run is for everyone, from serious runners, to the entire family, and even for those that want to sleep in! We are adding a timed component, if you want to test your limits!

Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and be entered our costume contest. Go trick-or-treating, thanks to our generous sponsors. Take a picture in the RRPD Swat vehicle or RRFD fire truck. Make sure to get a picture with your favorite Princesses. Enjoy Bouncy House, Carnival Games, Rock Wall Climbing, Petting Zoo, and Helicopter Candy Drop following the run.

Can’t make it? No problem! Sign up as a Batman “Virtual” Runner, and we will mail you a shirt!

All proceeds benefit The Cure Start Now in finding the Homerun Cure™ by funding pediatric brain cancer research and trials

PACKET PICK-UP:

Race day check-in will be available between 6:30 am and 7:30 am at Old Settlers Park, Lakeview Pavilion

The costume contest will be judged during the 5K. The costume contest will offer prizes for the following categories:

1. What does my registration include?
Shirt, Team Brock Bag, Carnival Games, Bouncy houses, Face Painting, Spooky Trail,

2. How do I put a team together?
Click Create a Team, Create Team Name and list email, have your Friends “Join your Team”

3. May I run with a stroller?
Yes. However, we ask that walkers and joggers allow the competitive runners to start first.

4. May I run with my dog?
Yes. However, we ask that dogs and joggers allow the competitive runners to start first.

5. Where do I pick up my race packet?
You have two options. Pre packet pick up is on Thursday, October 12th at High Country Market in Round Rock from 5pm to 7pm. You can also pick up day of race from 6:30am-7:30am.

6.What time does race start?
The race begins at 8:00 am.

7. How do I become a volunteer?
Contact Gail for shift times at [email protected]. We need help at pre packet pick up on October 12th from 4:30pm-7pm. Also, we need help on October 14th from 5:30am to 10am with set up, directing parking, raffle and carnival games.
